Agrupamento de Escolas General Serpa Pinto is a group of schools located in the county of Cinfães, in the north of Portugal.
It is a Priority Intervention Education Territory (PIET) that has about 100 teachers and 1100 students, aged 3 to 15 years old, from pre-school to 9th grade. The Agrupamento has 7 nursery schools and 7 primary schools, spread across the region, and a secondary school, placed in the little town also called Cinfães.
It also has a Centro Qualifica, with almost 500 registered adults, and a Learning Support Centre, consisting of an ICT Resource Center and a Multideficiency Support Unit, which supports dozens of schools in the Northern region in Special Education area.

Cinfães is a small town in Viseu district with about 3500 inhabitants. The county has about 22000 inhabitants spread over more than 100 villages. The small town is located between the Montemuro Mountains in the south and the Douro River in the north.
The landscape is dominated by green colours, very irregular relief, valleys and rivers. Agriculture and animal husbandry are important economic activities through the rurality of the region.
